I was so happy to see the delivery guy this morning knock on the door because I knew that meant that the portable DVD player that I’d ordered for my son had arrived.    He had asked us if he could have a portable DVD player to take with him to college and even though his television has a built in player, I knew that having a portable DVD player would be something that he could use anywhere.    I wouldn’t promise our son anything, but told him I’d see what I could find and my husband and I agreed when we found one well within our budget that we’d order the portable DVD player.    I’ve been waiting impatiently for it to arrive and now that it has, I’ll call my husband and see if he wants to give it to him tonight or if he wants to wait until this weekend.  He leaves for school in less than two weeks, so it couldn’t have arrived at a better time.  Now I just need to get a few movies for him and he’ll be ready to go.
