portable camcorderThis past Sunday night, a few friends and I hoofed it from about a quarter mile outside the concert venue entrance to see a soul/jazz type performance from an artist my friend could not say enough great things about. He has similar taste in music as me so even though I’d never heard of this person, I was all in for the concert. One of the girls who came had a large purse that concealed a portable camcorder nicely. On the way there, we weren’t sure if flash photography or portable camcorders were allowed during the show so we put them in her purse. Once we got to security, they checked her purse and didn’t see anything wrong with the contents so we were in the clear.

It was around 7:30pm when we got to the show, which had already begun. With the sun setting and the panoramic view of the city below the hillside, this venue sat on top off, the scene looked majestic. The musicians were great but my favorite part was recording the sunset over the ocean with the portable camcorder.
